Hiding

from my family, burrowed away in my room, procrastinating.

What fun.

Speaking of fun, the pirate setting for language on facebook is cracking me up. A few other interesting tidbits.

My homework for English is Friday: Transfiguration due. Yes, Harry Potter is amazing. Aside from the epilogue, which was awful. I began to lose faith that epilogues are ever any good, but then I finished Croggon's The Singing this afternoon, and my faith was restored- best epilogue ever. It actually drew the story to a close, rather than introducing random children like the Deathly Hallows one did.

I feel as if I should share another story. I ought to be able to wring something more out of SHP... well, on second thought, perhaps not. Nothing really happened in class that was funny enough for me to remember it now, aside from me feeling vindicated when the slimy looking guy said he wanted to be a politician, a very fitting career for him. Also, the teacher met her husband over cow brains. After announcing this, her voice trailed off dreamily and she sighed "so romantic..."

HAHAH! That's almost sad...

Teach me your secrets! I'm a slow reader, but I love reading. I'm not mega slow or anything, but I definitely take my time when reading. What are your favorite novels, though? Please say anything that isn't along the lines of Twilight.

I want to puke now that I just typed that out.

but the random children are so important! they're named after all the wrong people!!
although i rather fancy that Fleur named her daughter Victoire after Viktor Krum, even though everyone says it was because Harry was victorious over Voldemort. I swear she was having a secret affair and was extremely jealous of Hermione's exchanges with Krum...
Perhaps it was even Viktor's baby! Jackie likes this...oh wait, pirate setting: This be pleasin' to the eye o' Jackie...

Do you suppose their first date evolved into making punnet squares, too?

no, definitely not twilight- those are horrifically overrated. My favorite books are anything by Tamora Pierce (she has her own shelf on my bookcase), Philip Pullman's Dark Materials, and, of course, all seven Harry Potter books.

that is the greatest theory I've ever heard. I bet there's a fanfiction about that..... (this is similar to the internet rule about porn, only slightly less funny) amazingly, I can't find a story (in my two minute search) of fleur/victor making a baby (there are only even five f/v stories on fanfic.net! le gasp!)

and I may ask her that next week. my teacher, I mean. I was very confused thinking you meant fleur.
